FAQ

Heated clothing is versatile and can be used in many situations. Jackoli™ heated clothing uses carbon fibre heat pads which provide far infra-red heat to zones in the clothing.  They are powered by a USB lithium rechargeable battery.

Our heated clothing has 3 heat levels ranging from 40℃ to 50℃ and is controlled by a power button on the front of the vest or jacket.

USAGE

Heated vests can be used as a garment alone over a shirt or T-shirt such as playing golf. And with the stretch side panels it won't hinder your movement.

Or use your heated vest under a jacket to keep the warmth in. The vest is excellent for wearing under your motorcycle leathers. It will give out a gentle heat which will be retained by the jacket.

RUN TIME

Your heated clothing will run for the approximate times in this table. These run times will vary slightly depending on the conditions

 Battery capacity Low Medium High
5000mAh 3.5 hours 2 hours 1 hour
10000mAh 6.5 hours 4 hours 2 hours
CHARGING THE BATTERY

Your heated clothing comes with a 2.4 Amp charger included.

 Battery capacity Charge time
5000mAh 3.5 hours
10000mAh 6.5 hours

The standard 5,000mAh battery typically take approximately 3 hours to charge with the supplied Fast Charger (2.4Amp).  The 10,000mAh battery will take twice the time.

CHARGING FROM A 12V OUTLET ON MY CAR

If you have a 12V outlet you can use our PowerMini 4.8Amp USB car charger.   If your vehicle has a USB outlet with 5v power then chances are the battery will charge from that outlet.

GETTING YOUR HEATED CLOTHING WET

Your heated vest and jacket are water resistant.  So for use in a dry suit whilst diving or keeping warm after towelling down from a swim, your vests will function.

Of course if your product (especially the battery) comes in contact with a lot of water then it will cease to function.

We recommend keeping away from salt water due to possible corrosion of the heating system.

WASHING YOUR HEATED CLOTHING

You can easily wash your heated clothing using the instructions below.

  • Disconnect battery from vest before washing
  • Close all zippers before washing
  • Wash by hand in cold wash (less than 30 degrees C)
  • Do not bleach
